Project Overview

An agricultural site in Western Canada required a safer, more practical way to maintain site lighting, where light fixtures are installed at height and exposed to demanding outdoor conditions. The project focused on reducing risk associated with working at height while supporting ongoing operations.

Challenges

Servicing lighting at height introduces safety risks, weather related hazards, and maintenance delays. Traditional access methods require climbing, lifts, or fall protection adding complexity and increasing exposure for maintenance crews.

Solution

246 Swivelpole™ ST4-M1 lowering light poles were structure-mounted throughout the site, allowing lighting f ixtures to be lowered to walkway level for access, inspection and maintenance.

Outcome

Reduced exposure to working at height, safer lighting maintenance, and improved long-term serviceability.
